About the Safe Prom Pledge

Fellerman & Ciarimboli’s Safe Prom Pledge is a contract prom attendees sign as a promise to abstain from drugs and alcohol on prom night. Since 2010, Attorneys Greg Fellerman & Ed Ciarimboli have been visiting students across Northeastern Pennsylvania.

A memorial plaque was dedicated in 2018 to eight Mid Valley High School students who lost their lives in a drunk driving crash nearly 40 years ago.

The unfortunate accident involving the “Mid Valley Eight” inspired Fellerman & Ciarimboli’s Safe Prom Pledge – a commitment students make to remain drug and alcohol-free on their prom night.

For the past 12 years, the attorneys at Fellerman & Ciarimboli have traveled to high schools throughout Pennsylvania, urging prom-goers not to drink or take drugs on prom night. By signing this pledge, teens understand the consequences of their actions and commit to remaining sober on this magical night.

We encourage all teens to commit to staying sober on prom night to ensure many more magical nights in the future.
